Previously, a significant hurdle existed as there was no specific provision for enrolling the daughters of school staff in these residential schools. This often meant that staff members had to reside separately from their daughters, leading to concerns about their education and well-being. The new guidelines ensure that daughters of regularly appointed staff, including principals, teachers, and non-teaching personnel, can now be enrolled in the same residential schools where their parents work.
